HR Executive

We are looking for a proactive and reliable HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations and partner closely with managers and leadership on people-related matters.

This role is responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle (excluding recruitment) and ensuring HR processes, policies, and documentation are executed accurately and in compliance with applicable laws.

The HR Executive will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, supporting employee relations, performance processes, engagement initiatives, and policy interpretation. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to address people concerns, support managerial decisions, and promote a positive workplace culture in a fast-paced IT/technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, induction, confirmations, role changes, promotions, and exits
  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HRMIS data
  • Ensure smooth HR operations aligned with company policies and processes

2. HR Policies, Compliance & Documentation

  • Implement and communicate HR policies and SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements
  • Maintain updated HR documentation and records
  • Support audits and ensure HR documentation is audit-ready

3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination

  • Manage attendance, leave, and WFH tracking
  • Monitor leave balances and approvals
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, revisions, and deductions with payroll/accounts teams
  • Support statutory compliance coordination (PF, ESIC, gratuity)

4. People Partnering & Employee Relations

  • Act as a people partner for managers and teams
  • Guide managers on performance concerns, discipline, and policy matters
  • Support appraisal cycles, reviews, KPIs, and PIPs
  • Handle employee grievances and sensitive matters confidentially
  • Identify and escalate people-related risks

5. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Plan and execute engagement initiatives and recognition programs
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Improve communication between employees and management
  • Support internal HR communications

6. Training & HR Coordination

  • Coordinate training and learning initiatives
  • Maintain training calendars and records
  • Support leadership workshops and knowledge sessions
  • Coordinate HR-related admin and access support

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist or HR Operations roles (preferably in
  • IT/software/agency environments)
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management and labor laws
  • Hands-on experience in attendance, leave, and payroll coordination
  • Ability to partner with managers on people matters
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and HRMIS tools
  • Strong ownership and accountability mindset
